Hayatı

Brooklyn, New York'da 13 Aralık 1957' de doğmuştur. Babası İtalyan-Amerikan kökenli Kore savaşı gazisi bir işçiydi. Lise yıllarında güreş ile ilgilendi. 1980-1984 yılları arasında ise New York'un Little Italy bölgesinde itfaiyeci olarak çalıştı.

Buscemi 2009 Tribeca Film Festivali

En sevilen rolleri Reservoir Dogs filmindeki Mr. Pink, Con Air filmindeki Garland Greene, Armageddon'da ki Rockhound, The Big Lebowski'de ki Donny ve Fargo filmindeki Carl Showalterdır.

Buscemi sıklıkla filmlerde nörotik ve paranoid karakterleri canlandırmıştır. Coen Kardeşler´in filmlerinde bu nedenle sıkça gözlenen sanatçı Adam Sandler filmlerinde de komedi tarzında kendine yer edinmiştir.
