Richard Warren Schickel (10 Şubat, 1933 - Milwaukee, Wisconsin) yazar, gazeteci ve belgesel film yapımcısı. Time Dergisi için çalışan bir film eleştirmenidir. Ayrıca Life Dergisi’nde de makaleler ve Los Angeles Times’da kitap eleştirileri yazar.
Schickel 1964 yılında Guggenheim Fellowship’e kabul edildi. Yale Üniversitesi’nde, Southern California Üniversitesi’nde ve USC Sinema-Televizyon okulunda dersler vermektedir.
